When you create an account, we collect your username, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash). When you create short links, we store the original URL, short code, and metadata you provide.

2. Click Analytics Data

When someone clicks a short link, we collect: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, referring URL, and UTM parameters if present. This data is used to provide click analytics to the link owner.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to: provide and improve our URL shortening service, display analytics dashboards, process payments, communicate important account updates, and prevent abuse.

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored on secure servers. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. We retain click analytics data for the duration of your account.

5. Third-Party Services

We use Chart.js (client-side only) for analytics visualization. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

6. Payment Information

We use UPI for payments. We store only the UTR/reference number for verification. We do not store your bank account or UPI credentials.

7. Your Rights

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us. Upon deletion, all your links, analytics data, and personal information will be permanently removed.
